Packing Service Inc - We offer Packing / Unpacking, Loading / Unloading, Crating and Palletizing Services Nationwide.

We have provided a brief Packing list of items that Packing Service Inc. offers, including our professional package services we use to pack and load items as well the supplies we use in doing 90% of our house packing jobs. Every job is different but we try to make it as easy as we can:

LARGE ITEMS AND FURNITURE:

Large items and furniture's will be wrapped with our highest quality special double-padded paper pads that are used on the market today to give that added extra protection during the move. Items that require this process are: dressers, tables, chairs, bookcases, coffee tables, end tables and all wood or metal items. Each item will be wrapped, handled, covered and placed in the PODS Container or rental truck by our professional packing services team.

                

CHINA AND GLASSWARE:

China and Glassware are packed using only double thick china packaging boxes wrapped with unprinted newspaper (white paper). We take our utmost care of your china's and glassware's during our packing and unpacking process. We ensure that we are using the correct wrapping paper on your items preventing any form of discoloration that will damage your valuables. It is important to avoid other packing services that will pack your items with regular newspaper as this will stain your china's and glassware's. Again, we will treat our customer's property as if it was our own!

PLATES and SAUCERS:

Plates and Saucers pieces are wrapped separately in unprinted newspaper; they are clear fully placed in packing boxes while standing on the edge.

BOWLS:

Bowls are wrapped individually, then stack 2-6 together, wrap again and placed standing on edge in there packing boxes.

CUPS and GLASSWARE:

Cups and Glassware's are wrapped by the handles in paper, then are wrapped entirely and are place in packing boxes with handles pointing in the same direction for safety while packing and unpacking your everyday glasses individually, to be placed on the PODS Container or rental truck.

STEMWARE:

Stemware are wrapped with white packaging paper, china or liquor box with dividers and glass are individually wrap that are stand on the rim inside the box, to ensure the security during packing and loading process.

BOOKS:

Books are professionally wrapped by our packers that stand these items on the bottom edge in book boxes.

CLOTHING:

Clothing is packed using wardrobe boxes. Any other clothing, blankets and linens are fold and packed in linen boxes. We recommend emptying all dressers and chests as the added weight can make them difficult to move and move susceptible to damage.

POTS and PANS:

Pots and Pans are packed using large boxes stacking these items together with a few pieces of paper in between them.

LAMPS and LAMPSHADES:

In the process of packing lamps and lampshades we remove there shades and bulbs and wrap these items in layers of paper and place them in a box on base. Lampshades are preferable wrapped lightly in paper, neatly nest one inside the other and are packed in separate boxes.

ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT:

Electronic Equipment's are wrapped heavily in bubble wrap and placed in a box by itself.

PAINTINGS, MIRRORS and GLASS:

PSI uses only professional packers to wrap pictures by adding bubble-wrap for extra protection; valuable pieces may need to be professionally crated by us, all at a flat rate. Estimating how many boxes you will need while packing your valuables will vary from packing and crating. This will depend upon what will be packed and how they will be packed as well as from house to house, however, you will still be guaranteed at a flat rate by the box:

Small Studio = 10-15 boxes
Medium Studio = 15-20 boxes
Large Studio = 20-25 boxes
Small 1 Bedroom Apt. = 10-20 boxes
Medium 1 Bedroom Apt. = 20-30 boxes
Large 1 Bedroom with Children = 40-60 boxes
Small 2 Bedroom Apt. = 40-55 boxes
Medium 2 Bedroom Apt. = 55-60 boxes
2 Bedroom (3-5 Years) with Children 50-70
2 Bedroom (5-7 Years) with Children 70-80
3 Bedroom Home with Children 80-100
4 Bedroom Home with Children 100-200

One household may not have as many items as the other, so the number of boxes will vary, as well as the price, because it is only an estimate. However, we use flat rate moving quotes to ensure customers are satisfaction while saving them money. Our packers will pack and load all items and use wooden boxes when needed. Our professional packing company can be extended to cover the disassembling of large furniture items, reassembling; we can assist with difficult access, doors, stairs etc., while packing and loading your PODS container or rental truck.
